2021 StFXAUT Book Prize Award

The StFXAUT Book Prize is awarded to graduating students who demonstrate a commitment to social justice advocacy and community development on campus or in the community. Each student was presented with cash award of $200 and two books.

The StFXAUT would like to congratulate the 2021 Book Prize Award recipients Amy Graham (Bachelor of Science, Human Kinetics), Emma Kuzmyk (Bachelor of Arts, English with Honours), and Sydney Van De Wiel (Honours Women’s and Gender Studies with Subsidiary in Development Studies).

Amy received Becoming by Michelle Obama and Exercised: Why Something We Never Evolved to Do is Healthy and Rewarding by Dr. Daniel Lieberman.

Emma Kuzmyk was awarded Sister Outside by Audre Lorde and The Overstory by Richard Powers.

Sydney was presented with Butter Honey Pig Bread by Francesca Ekwuyasi and Jonny Appleseed by Joshua Whitehead.
